PLACEMENT
The Institute has been able to attract some of the pioneers of the corporate world for their manpower requirements even before the completion of the course. The companies, which have offered jobs prospectus to our students, are Bata India Ltd., Venus Pharmaceuticals, Sun Electronics, Colmac, Matrix Marketing, and Siemens, Key Business Solutions, Vedanta Group, OCL, Micro labs , Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd, Sanguine Solutions ltd, Reliance Capital Services, Reliance communications, Hyderabad, Bharti Axa Life Insurance ,Blue Star Technologies, Hyderabad, etc .to name a few. The Institute is having a Full Time Training and Placement Cell headed by a well qualified placement Director. The students are trained according to corporate needs through in house full time trainers as well as experts from outside like Time Institute etc. Every year the placements for final year students is completed by February.
INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERFACE
The institute has i2i cell which regularly maintains good contact and interface with industry so as to design the additional inputs (courses /training) as per the corporate requirements. This takes place in the form of Guest Lectures by top executives from reputed industry / corporates /entrepreneurs, Students’ visit to Industries, Minor Projects, Summer Projects and major Projects at industry level. It sensitizes the students to the nuances of business dynamics. The institute devotes some of its curriculum for practical inputs undertaking live projects.
FACULTY
The Institute is headed by a Director, an alumni of IIMA with vast experience in teaching research and consultancy. The Dean of the institute is from industry having wide experience in teaching and industry. There are 20 highly qualified faculty members and most of them have Doctorate degree with teaching research & industry experience providing qualitative teaching to the students of MBA.
VISITING FACULTY
The institute, besides regular faculties invites faculty from basically industry and premiere B-schools like IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, XLRI, BITS Pillani and other national level B-schools and institutes of repute.
CLASS ROOMS
All the class rooms are well equipped with state of the art gadgets of teaching like LCD projectors, OHPs Micro phones, Electronic Boards etc. GIMS is proposing Class rooms with on line teaching facility& Power Board.
GIMS AUDITORIUM
The institute has got a well furnished beautiful auditorium to conduct various academic activities like class room Seminars, Symposiums, work Shops, National & International Seminars & other value added courses for enhancing base of the students .
LIBRARY
The institute has got a well-furnished centrally air-conditioned knowledge center. It has got over 6200 books and 50 journals / periodicals and 20 news papers in a peaceful reading environment. It also has access to online journals and magazines.The library functions round the clock (24x7). Besides the campus has a very special AC central library with 46,748 books, journal & reference books.
E-LEARNING CENTRE
The institute is having well developed E-learning Lab & video class room presentations are made for the students.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT LAB
The college arranges personality development program for the students. It moulds students according to corporate expectations, so that 100% placement through campus is ensured. It also provides excellent development for the student and makes him not only and ideal corporate executive but also an excellent citizen. The institute is having lingua phone lab to train students in English special skills.
COMPUTER LAB
GIMS has a well-equipped state of art and exclusive computer lab for MBA students with all the required and latest software packages. It has Internet facility, which is accessible to students 24 hours free of cost. It is also providing Wireless connectivity to students. The college also assists students in procuring Lap Tops on hire purchase scheme.
HOSTELS
Gandhi group has well furnished 30 hostels in GUNUPUR & in campus and out of this sufficient number of seats are allotted to GIMS MBA students depending on the demand. The institute provides separate fully equipped hostels for all girls and boys students. It is more of a residential institute.
